Jim Rae died suddenly on October 7th while in Hershey, Pennsylvania doing exactly what he loved - selling Rambler cars and parts. He was a parts supplier to many Canadians with Jim's Restoration Service, attended numerous AMO International meets, as well as long-time President of Northern Ramblers who ran their Annual Show. He was never without a smile and a story. He always had an opinion on any topic you cared to discuss. Jim enjoyed discussing/negotiating for parts because the conversation always added a bright spot to everyone's day. He was only 63 years of age and leaves behind Jane, his partner of 25 years, and his three children. His funeral was held on October 17th and it was a great tribute to the person he was. Many braved the typical fall Canadian weather in their AMCs and his own beautiful 1964 990H Ambassador was in attendance. Our AMC family has lost a great advocate and friend - Jim Rae will be greatly missed. Rest in peace, Jim.
